Clean up pasted text: join broken lines, collapse extra spaces and keep paragraphs if you want them.
Text copied from PDFs, emails, scanned documents or web pages often arrives with a hard line break at the end of every line and with stray double spaces. This tool removes them in one step, so you get clean, flowing text.
Choose what happens to line breaks: replace them with a space, remove them completely, replace them with a comma, or keep only the breaks between paragraphs. You can also collapse repeated spaces, trim each line and turn tabs into spaces.
PDFs store each printed line separately, so copying them keeps a line break at the end of every line. This tool joins those lines back into flowing paragraphs.
It joins the lines inside each paragraph into one line, but keeps blank lines between paragraphs, so your text stays organized into paragraphs instead of becoming one long block.
Yes. Windows (CRLF), Linux (LF) and older Mac (CR) line endings are all treated as line breaks.
Turn on "Rejoin words split by a hyphen". A word broken as "exam-" and "ple" on the next line is joined back into "example". Leave it off if your text contains genuine hyphenated words at line ends.
